This dual-face urban thermometer and clock set was installed in the square next to the Igreja do Rosário.

This church, built with São Thomé stone, is officially known by historians and local residents as Igreja Nossa Senhora do Rosário.

Storytellers in São Thomé das Letras say that slaves originally built this space for Afro-descendant rituals. It was only in 1995 that the site was officially transformed into a Catholic church.
