Two clocks were installed, one at each gateway of Hercílio Dias Square, located in downtown Araranguá – SC.

The history of Araranguá is marked by significant transformations, and some locations that symbolize these changes are Hercílio Luz Square and Alcebíades Seara Garden.

The square pays tribute to Governor Hercílio Luz, while the garden was named in honor of former mayor Alcebíades Seara, reflecting the community’s respect. Today, with its large trees, flowers, and the presence of various birds, the square has become an important gathering place, a spot for relaxation and cultural expression, becoming an integral part of Araranguá’s daily life and the collective memory of its inhabitants.
